Love myself

What are your first thoughts when you hear the phrase ” Love Myself ” I find it to be such a controversial statement, in this day and age it can be taken in a negative light. In a world where selfies, superstars, entertainment and SELF confidence is at the forefront of our culture its hard to say that you love yourself because it could come across as conceited or self-centred and that’s the last thing we want people to think of us.

I want it all

Would you say that you are content with your life? Are you happy with where you are, what your job is, who your friends are, is the relationship you are in making you happy? I find that these are just some of the questions a lot of us ask ourselves these days. We are always faced with what we have now vs what we wish we had.

weakness is your strength

In this day and age we are all so concerned with ourselves. Nobody would want to admit it but we live in a time where social media, the internet and our phones are more real than human interaction or spending time with God. I will be the first to admit I have fallen victim to those things many times. At the same time we are also always looking over our shoulder to see what the person beside us in life are doing.

Step up and step out

Ever needed to do something but you really didn’t feel like it? Have you ever wanted to get better at something but you keep staying in the same place and you don’t know why? Chances are you let your feelings get the better of you. Growing and becoming a stronger person sounds amazing and everyone wants to be that, yet we don’t all the time because the way to getting there is pretty hard if I am just being real here.

Lonely girl

Everybody has a chapter that they don’t read out loud but today I am deciding to share that chapter with you. To be very honest I have been trying to avoid writing this one and because I have been very busy lately, it has been and excuse to just keep it to myself for a little longer.

Remember

Do you sometimes go through seasons in life where things get so so bad that your perspective gets drowned out and you simply can’t remember any of the good times? I most definitely have and it has caused a lot of damage that through my lack of seeing things the way they should be, myself and people around me that I love have been hurt.
