I have started the FEEL GOOD 7 DAY BLOGGING CHALLENGE by Alex Beadon (click on the link to start the challenge yourself )

Lately I have been working so hard at making my blog look great and to be quite honest I lost sight of why I actually starting blogging in the first place. If you are a young blogger like me and by young I mean I have only been blogging for just over a year now, then you might also have gotten caught up in the excitement of having a blog but not really concentrating on who your target audience is. Alex Beadon really has challenged me to think about it. So here it goes……

I have always been the type of person that loves fashion, decor, lifestyle and people. I am a creative soul at heart and I love capturing everything visually. If I can go into more depth, I have always had the heart to inspire others through the things I do eg: taking photos, blogging, sharing my life experiences. I feel that if my life is not going to inspire others to be better or to make them want to live their dreams then that isn’t great at all.

So in essence I blog because I feel that it is a great flat form to inspire other woman my age or younger. I have a desire and passion to raise up the next generation in a positive light so if teenagers to young adult women are not reading my blog then I know that I am not focusing on my audience very well.

I want Β ladies who come on to my blog to leave feeling uplifted, encouraged and feeling like they can take on their day. I want women to know their value, I want women to know that you don’t need tons of money to look good and you don’t need to have it all together to help someone else.

So to sum it up I blog about what I am passionate about and that is fashion, decor, lifestyle and people. As I grow as a blogger that could change but for now that is why I blog, simply for the love of it and hopefully changing someones life for the better in the process.

I’m also a young blogger less than a year and i have to agree at some stage we get so caught up with how everything looks – it’s important, but not the essence of why we are blogging. Great article – some food to chew on.

I just recently started blogging about 2 months ago and like you said I wasn’t really sure at first what my audience was, I just knew I wanted to write. So I’m glad I was not alone. So I took the time to take a look at your blog and I love it. Nice clean layout and great content. I think your doing a good job, so keep it up. You gained a loyal reader.
